Ajarn Noo rose to fame after creating the iconic Sak Yant tattoos on Angelina Jolie’s back. During her trip back to Cambodia after making a film there and adopt a child, Angelina decided to get a traditional Thai Sak Yant tattoo. She asked her tour manager to arrange it, and Ajarn Noo—Thailand’s most renowned Sak Yant master—was flown in for the job. After completing the tattoos, Angelina returned to the U.S. with her adopted child, and the story made global headlines when they see the Hah Taew 5 Lines on her shoulder. However, no one mentioned Ajarn Noo or his incredible artistry.
At that time, I was deeply interested in Sak Yant tattoos and decided to learn more about him. It took me weeks of searching, but eventually, I found him. Meeting Ajarn Noo was a turning point—I fell in love with the art and its spiritual meaning. I built the first website dedicated to promoting him worldwide because, outside Thailand, no one knew who he was. To make the experience even more special, I launched a VIP service, arranging hotel pickups and private visits to his shrine for Sak Yant tattoos. It didn’t take long before Ajarn Noo became internationally famous.
