Ajarn Noo Kanpai Grand Master

Ajarn Noo Kanpai Grand Master spent 5 to 6 years minimum in a Temple such as Wat Bang Phra to gain the knowledge of Sak Yant Thai Tattoo Designs. Wat Bang Phra being the most famous temple. Most people think that the blessing on the tattoos should be done by a monk and therefore Sak Yant and Buddhism are one and the same. A monk when doing Sak Yant is not acting as a monk when performing the tattoos. He is doing the Sak Yant Master role. In fact Buddhism and Sak Yant are two separate subjects. Sak Yant became entwined with Buddhism over the centuries until it evolved in to what it is today. But in truth, only Sak Yant Masters should do the Blessing and activation of the Thai Tattoos. The Thai government have recently  banned Thai Monks from doing them.

Ajarn Noo travelled around Thailand and spent a lot of time with other masters to learn the trade and he learnt it well.
